Allegheny County's FY 2013 Annual Action Plan Draft for Public Review
Beginning December 10, 2012, Allegheny County’s FY 2013 Annual Action Plan is out for a 30 day public comment period.
The proposed FY 2013 Annual Action Plan was prepared after conducting a public hearing on housing and community development needs, meetings with housing provider agencies, and meetings with County staff and officials.
Allegheny County intends to submit its FY 2013 Annual Action Plan for a Federal Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership Grant and the Emergency Shelter Grant to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on or before January 15, 2013.
Please Note: All projects and funding amounts referenced in this document are subject to change because the final allocation amounts from HUD were not received prior to the start of the public review period of the FY 2013 Annual Action Plan.

Public Hearing Notice - January 8, 2013
Notice is hereby given that Allegheny County, Pennsylvania will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM, prevailing time, in the ACED 8th Floor Conference Room of the Regional Enterprise Tower, 425 Sixth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 on the proposed Annual Action Plan for FY 2013.
All interested citizens are encouraged to attend this public hearing and they will be given the opportunity to present oral or written testimony concerning the proposed use of CDBG, HOME, and ESG funds under the FY 2013 Action Plan.

The Regional Enterprise Tower and the ACED 8th Floor Conference Room are accessible to persons with physical disabilities. Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice
Allegheny County is an entitlement jurisdiction under the U.S. Dept. of HUD's Community Development Block Grant Progrm (CDBG). In accordance with the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, each entitlement jurisdiction must "affirmatively further fair housing." In order to "affirmatively further fair housing" each entitlement jurisdiction must conduct a Fair Housing Analysis which identifies any impediments to fair housing choice.
As a part of its Five-Year Consolidated Plan, the County has prepared this 2007 Update to the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.
